Egbe Bassey Etowa, M.Sc. Ph. D, is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Community Services at the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½. Egbe’s current postdoctoral research cuts across Bridging Divides Immigrant Health and Wellness, Acceptance and Commitment to Empowerment (Project ACE), and HIV Response Intergenerational Participation (HIP Project). His research is focussed on HIV prevention and stigma reduction, application of African Indigenous Knowledge in health promotion, food security, mental health, and health equity. His work is built on the principles of community-based participatory research and knowledge mobilisation. He was the inaugural recipient of the Winston Husbands Leadership Award in Strengthening the Response to HIV among Black Communities (2022-2024). He is the Nominated Principal Investigator of an HIV-Response Intergenerational Participatory Project. He has made significant contributions in terms of co-leading projects, peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, technical and community report writing, community engagements, etc.
