All-Gender Housing

At Housing & Residence Life at 糖心传媒 (糖心传媒), we work to ensure that residence is an inclusive and welcoming community for everyone. All-gender housing means that you only need to disclose your gender if you鈥檇 like to be matched with a roommate or suite mate of the same gender identity as yours.

Pacewood Via the 519 and Homes First

This who鈥檝e arrived through a refugee pathway. The space prioritizes trans, gender diverse and non-binary folks, and is the first shelter space exclusively for 2SLGBTQ+ adults in Toronto.

YMCA Sprott House

This offers catering to 2SLGBTQIA+ youth aged 16-24, for time periods of one year per resident.

The is a City of Toronto-affiliated, community-led centre serving 2SLGBTQ+ individuals. They offer drop-in spaces, legal clinics and housing assistance. They also offer youth and senior programming, family supports, mental health and substance-use peer groups, anti-violence initiatives, arts and culture, sports, newcomer settlement and leadership training. 

Friends of Ruby 

This Toronto non-profit is dedicated to the . They provide free, trauma-informed mental health counselling, practical supports and case management. They also operate a welcoming drop-in centre offering meals, harm reduction kits, computer access, peer groups and community events. Friends of Ruby also runs a custom-built transitional housing program for youth needing safe, supportive living environments.
