Green Shield Health Assist: Continuing Education Students

As a recent or current member of the Canadian Federation of Students (CFS), Continuing Education students at G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education can purchase personal insurance coverage through one of the two extended health and/or benefit plans offered by GSC: Health Assist Link or Health Assist Zone.

Health & Dental Plan: Graduate Students

The mystudentplan provides health, prescriptions, dental, and mental health care, plus additional benefits for eligible graduate students. This plan is provided by the Toronto Metropolitan Graduate Students’ Union (TMGSU), which represents graduate students at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½.

Health & Dental Plan: Part-Time Students

The Toronto Metropolitan Association of Part-Time Students (TMAPS) provides a health and dental plan for part-time students through Green Shield Canada (GSC). 

Health & Dental Plan: Undergraduate Students

The mystudentplan provides health, prescriptions, dental, and mental health care, plus additional benefits for eligible undergraduate students. This plan is provided by the Toronto Metropolitan Students’ Union (TMSU).

Medical Centre

Health appointments for all current ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ students, staff, and faculty, including services such as physicals, mental health assessments, assessments for common medical problems, immunizations, and medical certificates.

University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP)

UHIP provides medical coverage for all International students (including undergraduate, graduate, and exchange students) studying in Ontario with a valid study permit. The plan provides medical coverage comparable to OHIP for services such as seeing a doctor, hospital stays and treatment, exams, and emergency services.

Vaccination Clinic

ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ hosts a series of pop-up Flu Vaccine Clinics for all ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ community members. Visit the webpage to view upcoming dates and locations.

Black Food Sovereignty Initiatives - Urban Farm

Black Food Sovereignty Initiatives aim to engage Black students, faculty, staff, and the broader community through the sharing of food from farm to table, and challenge systemic racism through Black-centric programming, training, and food cultivation.

Free Food Locator

Have food left over from your event? Looking for free food on campus? Join the Free Food Locator today! In an effort to help eliminate food waste and fight food insecurity, the Free Food Locator, run by Student Life and Campus Engagement (SLCE), can help you find and post free food left over from events on campus.

Good Food Centre

A centre that aims to help students facing any level of food insecurity through partnerships with community resources.

Indigenous Foodways - Urban Farm

The Indigenous Foodways program aims to promote Indigenous wisdom and traditional agricultural practices through knowledge exchange and community engagement.

Learn To Cook

Learn to Cook workshops are the perfect way to strengthen your food literacy, build your food skills and learn tasty new recipes to enhance your confidence in the kitchen! An offering through the 'Learn to' program within Recreation and Active Wellbeing.

Oakham Cafe & The Met Campus Pub

The Oakham Cafe and Met Campus Pub are two on-campus spaces for students, faculty, and staff to enjoy affordable food and drinks. These spaces are run by the Palin Foundation & The ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Student Centre.

ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Eats

ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Eats (Food Services) is dedicated to helping fight food insecurity at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ by instituting initiatives throughout the academic year to bring food security options to the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ community.

Urban Farm

The Urban Farm operates two rooftop farms on campus to produce and distribute food, facilitate research, and engage the community through ecological rooftop farming and food justice initiatives.

Environmental Health and Safety

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ provides consulting and advisory services on all environmental health and safety matters including Ergonomics, Smoking & Vaping on campus and more.

Health Promotion Programs

Health Promotion offers programs that aim to support your mental, physical, social, and spiritual wellbeing.

Infant Feeding Room & Pod

Private feeding spaces for students and employees to nurse their children on campus.

Menstrual Products on Campus

ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ offers free menstrual products on campus for all ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ students.

Office of Student Care

The Office of Student Care can help you access resources and holistic support following any challenges you may experience while you study. Student Care also works with the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ community to identify students in distress and address disruptive student behaviour.

Bike Share Toronto

A program helping the community reduce their carbon footprint, with several docks located near the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ campus. ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ students, staff, and faculty can save 20% on an annual membership.

Community Safety and Security’s highest priority is the safety of all community members and they offer a variety of safety training and workshops and resources for staying safe on campus.

Centre for Safer Sex and Sexual Violence Support (C3SVS)

Free and confidential peer support for survivors of sexual violence and their supporters, as well as products to lessen the impacts of period poverty and eliminate financial barriers to having safer sex.

Centre for Student Development and Counselling (CSDC)

Professional counsellors at the CSDC provide trauma-informed and trauma-specific care for students seeking to address the impacts of sexual and gender-based violence.

Consent Comes First (CCF)

Confidential, trauma-informed support for ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ students affected by sexual or gender-based violence.
